Outgoing Moroccan Ambassador

May 2016

H.E. Mr. Anas Khales made a courtesy call to say goodbye to the Secretary-General & CEO, Mr. Ahmad Younis and the Chairman, Mr. Joe Geoghegan as his term as Ambassador to Ireland is drawing to a close.

A Certificate of Appreciation was present to His Excellency by the Secretary-General & CEO, Mr. Ahmad Younis and the Chairman, Mr. Joe Geoghegan for the outstanding contribution to the promotion of Arab-Irish trade relations and also the fruitful and longstanding relationship that the Chamber has with His Excellency and indeed with the Embassy of Morocco.  Ambassador Khales has been Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland since 2000 and the Chamber wish him the very best in his next Ambassadorship.

“Younis was delighted to comment that Irish exports to Morocco rose by 16% in 2015 and indications are that this positively will continue throughout 2016”.
