Bahrain National Day

December 2017

The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, represented by Deputy Chief of Mission, Mr. Hussain Mohamed Alam, and First Secretary Fahad Abdulziz Al Binali, hosted a celebratory reception and dinner in Dublin, on 6 December 2017.

The celebration was to mark of 46th anniversary of the Kingdom’s national day and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

In his speech, Mr. Alam welcomed the attendees and reflected on the long historical relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Ireland and highlighted areas of cooperation in education, trade and investment, and the positive role the Irish expatriate community plays in Bahrain.

Among the honoured guests at the celebration were Arab Ambassadors and Deputy Chiefs of Mission, representatives from the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the former non-resident ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Secretary General and Chairman of the Arab-Irish Chamber of Commerce, and businessmen.
