AICC visit to the Arab British Chamber of Commerce

Chairman of the AICC Dr. Niall Holohan and Secretary General Mr. Ahmad Younis travelled to London to congratulate the Arab-British Chamber of commerce on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce.

While there Dr. Holohan and Mr. Younis held talks with officials from the Arab British Chamber as well as a number of Arab Ambassadors.  Mr. Younis stressed the depth and strength of the historic relations between the Arab-Irish and Arab-British Chambers, lauding the significant progress in these relations over thirty years through increasing the volume of trade exchange.

The secretary general hailed the great efforts exerted by the chamber in promoting economic cooperation among the Arab states and Ireland and the UK.

Dr. Holohan and Mr. Younis also attended a gala dinner to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce.  Secretary General of the Arab League H.E.  Ahmed Aboul Gheit was the guest speaker at the event in Banqueting house, Whitehall.

Abdul Latif Bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation council and Minister of State the Rt Hon Alistair Burt MP also spoke at the event in the presence of a number of Government officials and Arab Ambassadors.
